Reverse Read-a-thon: Wrap-up

The reverse read-a-thon is complete and I've gotten a good night's sleep.  How did everyone do?  I didn't read as many books as I would have liked, but I had a good time.  I have to say that starting on Friday evening and going into Saturday evening was great.  Starting a day earlier gave me all day Sunday to recover, which means I am totally refreshed for Monday.  Also going night into day helps during that last quarter or so of the read-a-thon.  Having the daylight hours during the second half makes a huge difference because the brightness helps with staying away, plus having coffee during the day keeps me on a normal routine.  And, if needed, taking a nap during the first half of the read-a-thon makes it easier to stay up for the second half.  Napping is always better during the quiet hours.  It was also a nice change for people in other time-zones.  I wouldn't be opposed to seeing more reverse read-a-thons.  Perhaps the admins could trade off every other read-a-thon.
